I obviously can't answer that question from 3,000+ miles away..., but TD was very complimentary of Cash today in his presser, said the guy is like a sponge, learning everything he possibly can from the vets.  TD was on his way to meet with Cash one on one.  That sounds very promising.  Might not be enough to help Cash make the roster given our absurd wealth of riches at LB, but got to love a guy who is doing his utmost to learn from TD & Luke etc.

I read a panthers.com article earlier and they say Cash is now up to 220 pounds from 205. Gaining 15 pounds is going to help him possibly stick. I think if he can be at least decent in preseason he will make the team, He also said he knows the playbook pretty well now and will be in some sub packages.

Unless he is just the best special teamer ever I figure practice squad is where he ends up.

He looks like he's having a hell of a headache.

Damn. I know the pic is distorted, but those biceps are bigger than my thighs.

I've thought the same about Star. These guys are ridiculous. I can't wait to watch teams try and run the ball on us this year. Best hope is that you sneak a screen past our linebackers.......bbbbhahahahahahahahahahahahaha

    • After seeing hits in the last two UDFA pools, I do not in this group sorta of a let down after I gassed myself up.  Not like I know of their games, but just expected more. The duke DT only has to beat out hunte (2025 UDFA) or Ray (DL coach's kid) or even Cam Jackson mid 2025 5th.  I thought they would bring in more edges, IOL, TEs, etc...
    • My 2 favorite picks, since you didn't ask? 3. Brazzell II.  A 1000 yard WR with 4.37 speed and checks all the boxes for a Z Wide Receiver.  IN THE THIRD ROUND!!! 5.  Sam Hecht.  I think he will take over as the starter at some point this season and never look back.  IN THE FIFTH ROUND. Runner Up:  2. Hunter:  We were targeting a DT early in this draft because we did very little to replace Robinson in free agency.  Hunter was our guy and he will start. In addition to that, you got a starting tackle that should man one side of the new OL we will build for Bryce's second contract. A starting WR, offensive lineman, defensive lineman and possible Offensive tackle (at some point during this year from this draft will start.  UNREAL. In addition, I don't doubt that Wheatley (5th round) takes the FS job by next year and Lee III is Jackson's replacement in 2027.   Finally, even Kuwatch should be a special teams demon and LB depth.   Last year's draft was so good it was ugly.  This one will turn out to be uglier.  No offense Basbear--this ain't about you.
