“But you know what the great thing is? He’s actually engaged in the game,” Coleman added. “He was excited for the defense. He got the flag, but he’s actually in the game. That shows a lot about himself.”

 

Cam also apologized to AJ Klein.

Most likely because it a major broadcast so there weren't 716 camera angles of everything

Well at least we found out about this new rule emphasis in the pre season. I agree though; it's refreshing to see a QB celebrating a play by a back up LBer in a pre season game. Cam cares about his teammates and wants to see them succeed and I love it.

We got the ball at the 26, so even with the penalty, Klein was at the 21 when Cam stepped onto the field. No way he had any impact on that play.

I saw him running on the field and when the flag was throw I knew it was for Cam.. smh

it was silly being preseason and all.. if a Ravens player did the same thing I would still think it was petty by the refs

I just checked and Game Pass doesn't do a coaches film(all 22) for preseason games. I guess our best bet is to see some fan footage or wait for ESPN/NFL Network talking heads to dig up the all 22 to talk about it.
