No lets keep Delaire in the rotation who is horrible when Greg Hardy is sitting out there and will improve our pass rush exponentially.  Makes sense.  Guys deserve second chances, i guess its okay for Jerry to give Smitty one but not Hardy.  Act like Hardy couldn't be controlled with this locker room, he would be a good soldier and everyone knows it.  He would even play for the vet min!  Bring him home, enough is enough.

Not bringing the man back is nothing short of a literal insult and slap in the face to those that have supported this franchise to the point it is now, so close to winning the big prize.

Lilsmitty09 should make one of his awesome great videos starting with the Godell speach talking about how important player safety is in todays NFL, and all the things they implemented to prevent concussions...jadajada...and then cut to the scene with the awfull helmet hits from the Denver game, emphasizing no flags were thrown...

I'll be happy to share on Facebook...

I'd love to see this, but as I recall our young friend has been trying to catch on in the video department of an NFL team.

Might be better not to have his name attached to something like that.

Please stop connecting your Greg Hardy fixation with Cam Newton's health.

They are totally and utterly two separate issues.  In a rational mind, at least.

Separate issues, but both share a consistent and unprescidented bias of make up as we go insanity favoring the shield and it's interests over the Panthers and theirs.

    • Option A:  Pay your starting QB starting QB money. Option B:  Look for a starting QB for 4-10 years (or longer) while wasting the talent at every other position.    How many of the top 20 QB's do you think are worth what they are being paid?   When you factor in the last year of his present deal his contract is really an average of 45 million per year which in today's QB market is a very, very good deal. I wish we'd had found a Brock Purdy to pay 50+ million a year right after we parted ways with Cam.  Ya'll go ahead and live in fairy tale land where good to great (much less elite) QB's are available to pay. Just the fact that they had the chance to pay Brock after the disaster of trading up for Lance is a testament that when you find a quarter back you can win with, complete in the playoffs and superbowls with, you pay him.
    • They will still be a playoff team but they aren't contenders anymore IMO. They won't be able to spend like they have when they went to a SB and proved he couldn't carry a win at that level with a really good team around him. Now he is going to have to do it with less to spend around him. They just locked in to being a playoff bound team that's going to be a known speed bump for whoever will represent the NFC in the SB.
    • Hmm. I think he'll live up to it. Last year, about half of his team was on IR it seems, at one time or another. Year before, Super Bowl appearance. Year before that, playoff run after being third on the depth chart and being pressed into service. Is he one of the greatest in the game right now? Nope. No chance of that. Is he in the top 10 going into next season? Pretty good chance of that.  Would 20 or more teams in this league love to have the guy as their starting QB. Most likely so. He's a good QB who can implement his coach's game plan to a T and has both the confidence of and confidence in his teammates. That'll take you a long way in this league if you've got the right cast around you, and he does.
