truth.

i've said all along i support cam no matter what way he goes with this cause as a fan i pay attention and know the good he does.  people that aren't fans of him either don't know or refuse to accept that.  i think it is solid to hear him voice his thoughts on the catch 22 the world puts him in with talking/not talking.  

i also like rivera standing up for these guys about the predicament the media puts these athletes in when they misconstrue comments and form stories with a specific agenda already in mind.  the media folks walk into a presser with the meat of a story already written and ask questions to ge the on record quotes they need.  when they don't get them they poo on the player, coach, whoever.  it is no wonder many of these guys don't trust the media.  people poo on bill bilichick for his manipulation of the media by not really saying poo, but he gets it.

They're all in a really tough spot, as far as social issues are concerned.  He did a really good job though, and hopefully, people will stop and think about what he said.  Right now, it seems like all we're seeing is division among, and between races.  Won't get anything accomplished that way.

Voting doesn't just mean check a party box or choose between two presidential candidates. Do the research find the candidates in each office that will try... and I mean actually try not just promise. To make changes you want to see. 

And if they don't you still have the opportunity to do it.

He said “my heart mourns for that family,” and that it was “embarrassing” for such incidents to keep happening, but also made it clear he didn’t have enough information about the shooting to pass judgements.

Not passing judgement till you have all the facts... Novel concept.

 

Cam did well here, and Rivera spoke very protectively of him.
