1) You guys have a hell of a board. I love the modern look and feel of it. I have seen a couple of team boards and they are mostly pains in the ass to navigate.
2) You team is not what you guys describe it to be. You guys have a great core and you aren't always going to dominate a team. One loss doesn't define a season. Football is truly a game of momentum and you guys could have easily gone up 17 - 2 and put this game away early.
3) 27+ fan bases wish they had your players. You coaches need to stop leaving your OTs on an island. They did it in the superbowl and they did it too often last week.

Best wishes on the rest of the season. You guys are still expected to be the best team in the NFC.

 

@Vikesfan you added a ton to this board last week,  Sorry I didn't get to say thank you earlier.   You guys played an impressive game.  Shame on us to the extent we took you lightly either as fans or as a team.   I appreciate that it was totally a clean win by your team.  Well played, well coached without any of the vicious hits as we faced by Denver.  Hard fought, well-played and true class & grit given the injuries your team has already faced this season.   Good luck on your season.  Can see your team going far.  Don't relish playing your D again, but a January matchup looks very possible...

      This is spot on, with the first 5 years of a QBs contract being so pivotal, as it should, unless you have Pat Mahomes or the reincarnation of Tom Brady, stats shows once the qb gets paid, the teams Super Bowl chances shrink significantly  what we did to get Bryce was idiotic to say the least, not because of the player(not a Bryce endorsement) but because there’s a long history of proof, making big swings at qb, are usually big misses  find the identify, build around that, and go from there. Unfortunately we don’t have one, and neither the defense nor offense side of the ball are more than good at best

      Seems like a loaded EDGE class. though I think we don't spend a premium pick there with Scourton/Princely showing production and potential.  Concepcion at 19 is intriguing and seen ARSB comps with his shiftiness, high IQ and YAC ability. He and TMac would be a nasty 1-2 combo at stretching a defense. Brenan Thompson could be that day 2 speedy/slot guy that could boost his draft stock in Mobile.  Sam Hecht could be a later selection for C depending on how we are planning to attack that position in FA and our own previous guys. Shelton from PSU is an interesting developmental tackle that if he can get locked into an NFL strength program and rock up, could be good down the road. Speaking of PSU, Dani Dennis Sutton was a guy last year I was big on and was bummed he headed back to Happy Valley. I think he can be a helluva NFL player, and if he can show improvement in his pass rush moves, I wouldn't be mad at him in a trade-back situation.
