What if Gano had made the field goal to win opening night?

Ifs and buts...

We came out and looked good the next week vs. the 49ers and then came out looking string against the Vikings early. Somewhere in that Vikings game the wheels just straight fell off and today's game was just an extension of the second half of that game. This team looks utterly lost right now.

I figured it out. It's all because PU stopped posting here...think about it. All year last year, his dumb predictions and meaningless posts about panicking and so on, he was the heart beat of this team. Then comes super bowl week. He made a post about how he and the media were getting over saturated with the Panthers. How all the attention and such would get to us and he wasn't feeling the game. Sure enough, we lost and I never head from Byron Bell, err, I mean PU again...

Here we are to next season and no word from PU and we look like poo and this board is in disarray. Coincidence, I think not.

Jokes aside, no panic yet, one quater of the season down. We will get better. Go Panther.

I hate playing the what-if game but I think you might be right. The Broncos are giving it to everyone right now and we really had them beat. I think us playing so good that night and still coming up short really got in our heads. If we had won that game I really think there's no way these last two weeks would have happened. We've looked awful ever since and the only reason we beat SF was because it was such a mismatch from a talent perspective. Gano's kick really deflated this team

Doesn't matter this team is gonna have to be mentally strong, last year was like track meet with blowouts but this year team is different. Panther are gonna have to methodical and get back to fundamentals if they want to win.
