That was a myth. We were around 14th in run defense ahead of the Ravens who won the super bowl that year. We weren't great but we weren't double dip on defensive tackles bad either. And yes we had Smitty and that's all we had which was the problem

Come on man, you can literally do this for almost every pick made in the draft.

      Tools. If I hear that term used one more time I'm going to lose my damn mind.  "Tools" are meaningless if they cannot use them already. Stop looking for "tools" and find productive football players. Stop looking for combine freaks and look for guys that have produced at a high level already. Tools my ass.
