  1. 1. Coach vs GM

A snake dwells in a hole at the farmer's threshold and is tolerated until his son accidentally steps on it and is stung to death. The enraged father then chases the snake with an axe and cuts off its tail. When he later attempts to make his peace with the snake, it refuses on the grounds that neither of them will ever forget their mutual injuries.

Must have been a hoop snake with a stinger.

First, Peanut had an ACL, preventing him from a possible 2nd year with the Panthers.

Second, Norman wanted more money than he's worth, so Gettleman let him walk, which still was the best decision.

Third, Bene, whom was being counted on to help achor the secondary, hadn't even recovered well enough to play slot fot us. Pretty sad.  While his cut was surprising, I don't fault the decision.

4th, injuries are a bitch.  And injuries has taken it's toll on the secondary.

None of these are the fault of the GM, nor the coach.

I do blame the coaching staff, namely Rivera, for the undisciplined play on both sides of the ball.

Neither one should be fired.

BTW, you can't get rid of the GM, and retain the HC. It happened when Hurney was fired, but it won't happen again.
