Greg Jennings on SportsCenter commenting on Cam?

He basically said he's not getting the calls and should be. His answer for why was odd. It was something along the lines of because he's big and transcends the game because of his off the field presence. He was in support of him. He did say there are a lot of other qbs that don't get calls as well. ESPN also discussed what other players are saying. Two rams players said cam needs to slide faster and that football is 11 ppl hitting 11 ppl. Hayes did say cam isn't getting calls but it isn't his problem. Seems media is split on cam and the calls. Current and former players seem against cam.

Current and former players basically are going to take the opposite stance on Cam out of the gate....a given.  He simply has annoyed opponents too long

Many Current players just use the beat around the bush ESPN and the media answers to say crap.  They use the "designed run" excuse and ignore the facts hit in the pocket.  Cam isnt going to slide in the pocket, the whole argument is about his shots in the pocket not as a runner downfield.  Stupid comment by the rams players

Yep, the narrative 75% of comments are on isn't the issue at hand.

When we drafted Cam and people began to worry about him I always said I most feared for him in the pocket and not as a runner.   Cam despite the showboating concussion type play can protect and deal with the running hits.  Sitting duck in the pocket with opponents over playing him as a passer

I don't expect many current players who aren't QBs who do not go through why he goes trough to "side" with Cam, honestly. I  do expect them to be neutral or no comment. The media is choosing to overlook what he was upset about. He said he wasn't talking about hits while running, but in the pocket. They're making what they want out of this because it's Cam. He's big, he's strong, he's physical (we've seen him give and take some hits), he's cocky, he laughs, he smiles, he's unapologetic, he's a little rough around the edges. He does not fit the mold. So any little thing, there's a problem. He could stand at the podium and say "it's too warm outside for fall" and that would be a week long story with David Newton leading the charge.
