Why not roll Cam out of the pocket to throw?

Cam has been in the NFL for 6 seasons. Either he sucks at it or Shula won't write plays for it for some dumb reason

If it was so advantageous to roll your QB out of the pocket. Why don't more teams do it? Because you limit the amount of field you can use.

Or maybe...Shula isn't dumb enough to limit the amount of field Cam would have at his disposal.

Dallas also has the best line in football by a large margin- have to have athletic players that can win one on one matchups to keep your QB clean as he rolls

Yea because they have watched film no our line can't cover everyone with remmers being on the edge..plus noticed that our receivers are porous . ..what was suppose to happen last yr is happening now..all the drop passes  we got away with we are not now..if we are going to keep going deep we need not to max protect but have the receiver go out..cam will have to trust his receiver will be there and just release, but truly the only receiver he truly trust is olsen..if ginn was truly a speedster i would do this and theow it long trusting ginns speed.

I am sorry, but I read that twice and still have no idea what you are trying to say. You did not address either the blitz as we were discussing, or rolling Cam out like in the original post.

 

Olsen good, every other receiver not so much?

If our running game (sans Cam ) was worth a rats ass we wouldnt need to be concerned about rolling Cam out of the pocket.  Its time for the read option bullshit to die.

Rolling a QB out from time to time has always been a way to counter QB pressure in the NFL

I like every sane person on this board knows Shula needs to be gone this offseason, this is long overdue. But equally important is a QB coach hire to be Cam's RH man. If Rivera doesn't intend to do this Gettleman needs to step in and say change or hit the highway bud.

Nothing is gonna work until the offensive line is fixed. No run, no designed roll-out, nothing is gonna work until we fix it. We also need to get rid of Shula.

Must be nice to be a rookie QB with an oline, top pick RB, top WR and a good OC. No pressure being the number 1 draft pick QB expected and asked to win games just by snapping your fingers
