Daryl Worley vs. Michael Crabtree

Am I the only one that feels uneasy about the Oakland game not just due to all of the animosity the team is facing in regards to injuries, but also due to this particular match up? I really liked Crabtree in college but thought his diva attitude would prevent him from succeeding like so many other WR divas (sarcasm). He's got great hands and has been having a great year.

I hold my breath whenever Worley looks like he's going to impact a play, unless it's for a 50/50 ball which I'm oddly at ease with him defending. He was wrapping up well at the start of the season, but seems to have taken a few lessons from Tre Boston in how to dive at an opponent's feet instead. I haven't lost my faith in Worley turning into a reliable CB, but at this stage in his development I don't see him doing much against Crabtree other than getting abused.

My sphincter is going to clench every time I see Carr drop back with Worley trailing Crabtree and Boston sprinting to where he was already supposed to be T_T

BUT... who knows? Maybe the DL continues its resurgence and presents the young secondary with less time having to cover. Maybe OAK decides to test Klein or Mayo in the run game or coverage for that matter. I don't see Crabtree burning Worley either, so there's that at least.

I just realized that we're also likely to see Khalil Mack vs. Mike Remmers quite often...

Worley will do fine if we get proper pressure on Carr. There lies the issue however, our pass rush is greatly diminished with Addison out. Then there's the issue with Kuechly being out...

Our defense is in for one wild night.

Ugh... dude... I completely forgot about Addison being out. A wild night indeed D:

I smell great this morning. I showered, put deodorant on, and Spice Bomb cologne.  My scent is phenomenal, sir.  Where are you?  How did you get into the Duke Finance building?

At least their defense is pretty below average.

Work + school + 1yr old have been super greedy with my time and I haven't been able to watch a fraction of the football that I usually get/want to.

What's the deal with their defense? I was under the impression that they had a super solid secondary and a decent pass rush. Is their squad basically just Khalil Mack and Bruce Irvin trying to hold together their front 7? That would be pretty sweet. :3

They are dead last in sacks and qb pressures. 29th in passing yards surrendered per game and 26th in rush yards. basically you could say they suck though somehow they improve to 20th in points

Work, school, and a kid?  Dude, you're a baller.  I'm going to grad school, plus starting a new job Monday.  And it's rough.

For the most part, you're correct.  Mack is a beast, but Irvin is overrated.  Their back four is solid, Amerson from NC State has turned into a solid corner.  But besides Mack, their pass rush isn't good.

But, I was told by the Huddle Worley has gotten better.  We shouldn't have anything to worry about.  Daryl Worley puts up phenomenal tackle numbers.  We'll be okay.

Well before Worley came along I was told by the huddle Crabtree was done as a WR a couple years ago when he was a FA .

So you're still right we shouldn't have anything to worry about!
