No fine for Harry Douglas

Still have to state what the fine is for...

I'm not defending the NFL.  There isn't a way to call it an illegal hit.  But no player wants to take that shot

Exactly.

In every sport there are a few rules that fall into the "legal but not necessarily acceptable" category.

Most times it comes down to mutual respect.

I personally thought there was some intent behind that block but at the same time, there is  a part of me feels like the he and the Broncos got a little taste of their own medicine. Sometimes medicine does you good.

The NFL is very concerned about player safety, guys.

No, really...

Now it would not surprise me one bit if the League didn't try to make a rule around this. It is difficult to come up with a rule on a play that doesn't happen. I mean, has anyone seen a play like this before? But yeah, now they can do something about this type of play.

There would be no Tuck rule, or faking an injury to save a TO if they hadn't happened. Once they do happen, there ya go. New rule.

Or...I could be totally wrong once again.

I'm pretty sure KB took a shot to the knee from one of their DB during the game this year.  They are dirty.  If the league won't do anything about their cheap shots, it was only a matter of time before players did.

Dirty dirty dirty "legal" block.  Should of been on Stewart instead though.
