The panthers in general suck at screen passes always have. I feel like it was sometime around the time shula got here when we had our 1st successful one. Im not sure so dont beat me up. My point is we have real bad luck with the damn screen pass i hate it. Makes me nervous when we try one. Im am not sure why we always suck at them but we have.

We were statistically one of the best screen teams in 2013 and still top 3rd of the league in 2014. There's no statistics for last season or this that I can find. I linked the stats for 2014 and 2014 in this thread.

I wish PFF had the same stats for the last two years. It would be interesting  to see if there is an actual decrease in screen plays and if it coincides with the departure of Williams

Some of its the backs but a lot of it is cam doesn't throw short routes very well. He puts too much heat on the ball and can't control it very much.

Fozzy has three times more receiving yards than Stewart while getting 200 less snaps. All the fingers are pointing at Stewart.

How many drops does Stewart have this season alone?

I think it's one of those deals where when he finally does have one he isn't used to it or they never really practice it and he ends up throwing it too hard because he's so used to throwing 20 yarders all game long.

I'm just tired of people talking about outlets when we have a rb thats usually kept in to block while everyone else is 20 yards down the field. I can tell we are going to lose a game any time I see Greg staying in to block. When your best pass catching option has to be a blocker on passing downs, you have no shot. Happened in the Super Bowl.

So to be clear RB screens? cause we do some wr screens and alot of TE screens but i can remember us ever being top of the league good at RB screens. That seems to be the saints thing. Also i wonder how many of those are FB

I looked at the stats for 2013 and 2014 and your right we were near the top for screen passes. It seemed that i thought other teams had far more screen pass yards then us. The best are in the 3 to 5 hundred yards per year, i feel like breeze has like 2000 yards per year from them. lol. I have tapered my requirement for the team accordingly thanks CSK.

I'm start to thinking that Cam's accuracy and throwing mechanics doesn't capable of running short quick passing plays.

Our passing plays are sucks. But I don't think the professional football coach is such a dumbass like some huddlers complain.

I never understand this reasoning. Millions of people on this planet aren't great at their jobs.
