Most teams had Tyreek Hill off the board

It's just ridiculous though that Hill is playing and guys like Greg Hardy who can sack the QB 15 times in a season is unemployed. Where is the exempt list for Hill? Where is the NFL's outrage and sponsorship loss?

Yep.  A thrown out misdemeanor charge and a 911 call by the suspect result in 21 games missed, vs a rock solid felony charge and hero status for a franchise looking to win big for the first time in decades.  I know I'm hoping like crazy the Chiefs make it to the big game so that these questions can be asked and exposed in front of the masses.

Just think for a moment...He hit his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach. Now put that within the context of the Panthers. Rae Carruth had his baby's mama gunned down in hopes that she and his child wouldn't survive. Can you honestly tell me with a straight face that if there was any franchise that should take a pass on Hill, that the Panthers shouldn't have been the first on the list?

Come on, man!

Excellent point.

And for people (stupidly) bringing up Greg Hardy, you do realize he was caught with drugs just a short time ago, right?

Second chances?  Okay. Tell me first what he's done or doing to try and make life better for the girl he punched and choked.

If the answer is "he wrote her a check", not good enough.

Still sad about the downfall of your women-abusing, coke-head boyfriend, are you?

If there isn't a large public outcry our a video of the incident no one cares unfortunately.

I'd take Tyreke Hill on my team any day of the week. Do I understand what he did is unforgivable? Of course I do, and he isn't a guy I would personally associate myself with but this isn't church league flag football. Let's face it, a lot of bad people play and have played in the NFL (Pacman Jones, Talib etc)The NFL is about winning games and I personally don't think one bad decision should ruin a young mans life with the talent Hill possesses. He paid the price by falling far in the draft as well as getting kicked out of OSU. Also, it's easy to hate on a kid when he's not on your team. If he was a panther, we'd be defending him the same way we defend Cam when the media has crucified throughout his career for various reasons

So, nothing is more important than winning football games, then.

Guy punches a pregnant woman?  Don't criticize until you check his 40.

Rae Carruth?  Who was that?

That's not what I said. Don't put words in my mouth, which you clearly like to do with your posts, I've noticed. Personally I believe a mistake a young man does at the age of 19 should not destroy his entire life if he accepts responsibility for his wrong doings and serves his time and punishment, which he clearly did if you look up the facts of the whole incident. We just have different viewpoints, it happens

This is about hypocrisy, nothing more.  The Carolina Panthers lost a legit chance at the Super Bowl in 2014 and certainly 2015 without extra rollover salary and/or a comp pick.  Now, the Chiefs can waltz away with perhaps hardware without nary a peep of backlash?  Not good enough.
