If Fox was fired, would he resurface as a DC or HC?

I hear all that he would get sign in a few weeks after we let him go. I really don't see why there seem to be far better veteran coaches available. I agree with you he probably would be a DC for a year or two.

with guys like Cowher, Shanahan and Schottenheimer on the market, I doubt it would be in a heartbeat unless it was in this league.

Yep. I know Eric Mangini was fired as the head coach for the Jets last December & now he is coaching the Browns. I could see that happend with Fox once he isn't coaching the Panthers anymore.

he would get another HC job right away. he would go to his new team and have success within a season or two by taking them back to fundamentals. most people here will say 'look what we let go, he's winning elsewhere.'

then in 5 years all of the problems on the team that he has refused to acknowledged will build up, the players will stop believing in him and realize all he knows is fundamentals, and they will be extremely inconsistent.

Well I want him as our O-Coordinator then he is great at turning minimal RB talent into a 1000 yard rusher (something the Broncos weren't as successful at after he left) think what he could do with Williams and Stewart.

Shanahan is probably waiting to become the next Cowboys coach. Schottenheimer's already had the Dan Snyder experience, and I think Cowher already told Snyder no once before.

Zorn is as good as gone along with Jason Campbell.... The skins will look at how teams have done with rookie QB's (Jets, Falcons, Ravens) and sell the farm next year to bring in either McCoy or Bradford
