The first two College Playoff Games.

Did anyone that watched them, like how they showed them? Man, it was awful. 5 split screens at one time. At first I thought it was just for the pregame. But then it just went on, and on. And then they did it for the second game. Who cares what the Coach is doing on the sideline? I like stats, but I don't need a constant screen shot of them. Oh look, they ran the ball, and the stat line moved accordingly. How Cool.

I did kind of get used to the split screens for the plays. The normal one from the sidelines above the 50 was easy to get used to. That shot from the flying Camera above the field took a little getting used to. I watched the plays from the over head, and watched the replays from the normal camera angle.

But all in all, who needs 5 screen shots? It's football, not the fuging Academy Awards.

So no. I didn't like it. Not one little bit.

Panther related. If enough weirdos like this sort of thing. We just may see it in the future. So if any of you see a weirdo. Kick them in the nads, and tell them to leave our football alone.

They were awful, uncompetitive games. The NCAA got exactly what they deserved in the Clemson/OSU game putting an Ohio State team that couldn't even qualify for their own conference championship game into the four team playoff. What a crock.

Would be amazing if they just go in a bracket system for the playoffs, and shorten the regular season a little bit to compensate.

It'd be like march madness but for the NCAA. That would definitely amp ratings and drive competitiveness.

Honestly hate how the current playoff system is. Just complete trash imho.

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
