Both ints not jakes fault

Nope. The first pick happened because Jake's deep ball has more hang time than Baker's punts. Yeah, Moose probably should have made a better effort on that ball but honestly, it was up there WAY too long and it's because Jake has dead arm. I have never seen him haul back and just whip it the way he has been recently in terms of throwing that deep ball with so much loft. He just does not have the arm for it anymore.

The second pick was about an equal share. We didn't know the designed route. It looked like a inside slant, but it could have been something else. Even if it was an inside slant, you eat that ball instead of throwing it.

First one was on moose you have to make a play on that and the second one was all on smith for breaking the route, you just can't do that.

Yep, but Scott Fowler's column on charlotte.com says Panthers lose because of bad Jake.

That guy can eat a dick, what game was he watching?

First int was a clear out that should have never been thrown to Moose. If that route is going to be called it needs to go to Steve, that's obvious. Ball should have gone to a guy cutting across the middle (pref. Moore). Oh well, first int is on Jake bc Moose wasn't expecting it. Although, Moose needs to know what to do there. - Jake -

Second int seemed like it was an option route for 89 and Jake didn't read it. Oh well, even if it is all Steve's fault, WHERE THE HELL IS JAKE THROWING THE BALL WITH THE CLOCK RUNNING OUT????? 5 yard slant????? - Jake -

Third turnover, fumble. - Jake -

Game, John Fox.

The first interception was ALL MUHAMMAD'S FAULT.

Jake throws that pass all the time, and 9 out of 10 times, Steve Smith comes up with it. It had to be underthrown because there was a receiver on both sides of Muhammad. The ball being thrown short allowed WHOEVER DECIDED TO STOP the chance to catch it. The Defender was actually paying attention, Muhammad was not. Then when he saw it at the end, he didn't even try to catch it.

Anyone who blames that on Jake is a RETARD.

It was throw where Muhammad could catch it...IF HE TRIED.

He did not.

    • Apparently CSW lost his starting job to Thornton last year. If he can stay healthy I bet Thornton keeps that NB position.
    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
