Seahawks love trading back (as does NE) I was thinking both of these teams were likely trade partners.

Seahawks need a LT and would definitely stand pat and take Ramczyk IMO.  While we did trade for Norwood, they're the enemy and an unlikely trade partner in such a high profile trade.  The Patriots would definitely be a possibility but right now it seems like trying to place a square peg in a round hole.  Why would we have to jump in front of Cleveland, SF, Chicago, etc., and how steep would the price be given the need and premium at QB for those teams?

I would trade Funchess and get a 3rd or 4th round pick.

No one is giving up a 3rd or 4th for Funchess. If we traded him it'd probably have to be for a late round conditional pick. Since he's still on a cheap rookie contract might as well just hang onto him and hope he develops.

I rather give his snaps to Byrd & Brown while getting some return.

Based on everyone dropping him out of the first and/or calling him a guard (Mayock), I think Cam may actually be a viable option at 40.

The huddle might poo a brick if after pick 40, we have Fournette and Robinson.

Viable option in huddle minds maybe but I doubt the card would ever be turned in in any round with the character concerns, right or wrong.

Give me a week to watch the combine and then I'll post my thoughts. Any player that is in the 1st round mocks now and runs slow or measures too small and then becomes a tweener is going to be in my list. Also, any of the top tackles who get talked about as a guard, there you go.

There will be some tweaking and movement, but other than for a solid LT, why would anyone trade up so far at such a premium cost?  I think trades are inevitable (and even advocate trading for a solid vet) but find moving back into the late 1st unlikely.
