Geoff hangartner use to say, OL was the last postion group coaches would try you out before they kick you off the field.  Your last chance to make a team, cause you failed everywhere else. lol

Hey the Panthers have done that.

Perine is powerful, but he lacks speed and the elusiveness. I kind of think he's akin to an upgraded Alfred Morris.

He's  a bigger CAP. And a little better. But I don't see him being a starter. 4th or later for me.

Fournette is hurting his stock by not doing so many things. I know he will do it a pro day but that combined with, skipping his bowl game makes questions.

I wish you were right. But NFL GMs don't care about his bench press or his skipping bowl game. There are no questions about his strength. And both him and McCaffrey have strong character backgrounds. Think them skipping an exhibition game means anything? I'd consider them more intelligent on that alone.

His stock has been all over the place depending on what you read. Some orginally say before the weighins he'll fall out of the top 10 and Cook is the Top RB.
Weighins yesterday you saw some say it really hurt his stock coming in at 240.
Theres a thread on here where the 49ers are now really considering him at #2 post weighin. Meanwhile some of these "experts" you see reporting on some sites say his stock really took a hit.

I just hope his stock falls to #8 for us to grab

It's the NFL off-season. Nobody is telling the truth. Why would they? Yet, these draft guys eat up what they tell them as fact. If I'm a scout, and I like a player, I'm gonna lie my ass off. They know these guys are going to quote them. Tell them anything but what you really think.

I really think it plays in more than you think with the better teams. I can see a guy getting away with one but not the other. No bowl game and skipping combine workout drills just make teams ask why? And what are you hiding?

Skipping the most overrated drill, and he's still going to do it at Pro Day where the weights will be the same...lol. And neither him nor McCaffrey was near 100% at the time. Why should they play in a meaningless exhibition game and risk 10-20M? Think Jaylon Smith wishes he skipped his bowl game. Joey Bosa got so scared he got kicked out 3 plays later, just to get off the field. It's real easy to judge when it's not your money on the table.
