Robinson has never really been in my top T prospects really. He has potential on the right side, but guys like Ramczyk, Bolles, and Rod Johnson are way more ready and capable of starting at LT.

Saw someone point out that Ramczyk's college head coach Paul Chryst is the brother of Geep Chryst, currently TE coach of the Broncos.

Wouldn't be shocked to see the Broncos take him.

Just because the class is deep doesn't mean all of the prospects fits out scheme, there maybe couple of handful of RBs that would make a impact on this team.

Fournette would be BPA and fill a need.

McCaffrey would be a better choice. We already have two backs that can get 3 or 4 yards per carry in the single back formation.

I've realized this was a terrible post and can be removed or ignored.

No it's not.

I'm on board with Robinson at 8.   CanadianPanther over on an inferior site is really high on him at 8 for a few different reasons and I'm a big fan of his opinions w/ stuff like this.  Says he's better than humphries coming out and that his pass pro issues are coachable at worst and not as overblown as people are making them out to be, and that also he's already top 15 in the league at run blocking as is.  He's the pick at 8.

If you're using that site as a reference for making an argument that Cam Robinson should be our pick at #8, "inferior" isn't a strong enough word for it. He's Cyrus Kuandjio all over. There's a reason Mayock just skipped over the "he's a RT only debate" and just ranked him at guard. Plus, you don't draft Bama OL...period. Find me a team that has took a Bama OL and been happy about it.

1. evan mathis and chris samuels back in 03'

2. don't use the past as an end all be all of predicting the future

3. wasn't using the site (it is inferior) as a reference.  Was referencing somone's opinion affiliated with the site that I respect

Did you just reference two guys from 14 years ago as a rebuttal? Dude...go back home. That's sad. Maybe we should draft a USC tailback. They had a good run in the 1970s.

And I referenced one of the most respected draft analysts there is. And a disturbing trend from a school that is difficult to deny. I mean, look how far you had to go back.

He'll go mid to late first, which is way too early for him.

I would put him at RT in the NFL, because he isn't great at all in pass protection. I would be okay with the Panthers drafting him, but not before the third round. He'll be gone by then... taken by some desperate team way too early hoping for an LT.

I'd be OK with him at 40. If we get a FA LT that's at least a stop gap.

I referenced evan mathis first.  someone still playing in the league and a pro bowler.

saw you conveniently glossed over that.  troll.

The difference was that Humphries was in play at pick 30, not 8. I'd put Cam in play at 30, depending on how the board falls. At # 8 I feel obligated to draft a perennial pro-bowler or at least gamble on who we expect to be), because I hope to hell we never draft this early again!

And a OL taken 14 years ago has no relevance in this discussion. Whether they are playing or not. And since I asked what teams were happy they DRAFTED them. You think we were happy to waste a 3rd on him?

Now, come up with a rational argument against anything I said. Maybe you could get that guy from the other site to help get your thoughts on order?
