Trade back with Cleveland and get Barnett

Use the NE second rounder and Cleveland's second to move up and get Ross in the first

Use our second rounder to get Obi

Use the 3rd round comp pick to get the Iowa TE

Use the 4th rounder to get Perine

Use the 5th on a developmental LT like Davenport

Use the sixth and seventh for whatever.

Celebrate

Pipe dream

Cam's game is entirely dependent on the RB being a threat so that they can't key on Cam as a runner OR a passer on every down. Stew is unreliable due to health and a struggling OL at times.

A talented RB that we can rely on for the next 5-8 years is just what we need and I think Gman knows that if he knows anything about the build of this team.

Rb deep draft means you can get a guy to split carries with Stew in the 3rd or 4th round.. Not to mention they gave Fozzy a 2 year deal not 1.. So he is also in the plans..

He's not trading back...hes a BPA by nature and will take the best player of the block...hes already stretched out if his comfort zone the past 2 days. It's going to be Adams or Fournette IMO!!!

Bet 10.. Fournette nor Adams will be there and he isn't trading up..

So i have 20 saying we don't get neither...

I'll bet 10...that one of them is there. You want to bet another 10 we take/don't take one of them?

I'll take the first bet. But your second bet is not consistent with your post. I don't think he'll move up either. I think he stands pat. I'll bet 20 if either ARE there at 8 he takes one. So right now we have a $10 bet...im good for it. LOL

Far more likely we package that pick we just got from NE to move up than it is we move down.

Source: Gettleman has never moved down, but moved up every draft.

but look at what the browns are doing, they have so many picks, how can you deny that standard

People keep forgetting that Stew is due almost $5 million this season. If we draft a stud RB that gives Gettleman incredible negotiating power. He can offer Stew to take a pay cut or he can simply just cut him. Look at the cap savings we can get from a injure prone RB. I see us trading up to get Fournette or wait and get Dalvin Cook in the 1st.

IMHO We are not drafting Fournette.  That will upset some folks, but DEs take time to develop.  We have 3 over the age of 30 and the other is a 4/5th DE on his best. day.

The draft is loaded at RB.  The draft is NOT loaded at DE or SS.

I think we will draft a DE in the first (Thomas, Barnett, or Taco?).  Yes, Fournette would be nice, but I sense that GMs have devalued RBs and they are going to be there in the third round.

Yes, we signed Peppers, but he may not finish the season. CJ has been banged up in 11 years, and Addison is 30 now.  Yes, we could ignore the problem and hope for a rookie DE next year, but trading Ealy was a huge tell.

IN addition, WR just got important--so is SS behind a 36-year old starter.  I am guessing that RB is 4th on the list right now.

As the last 24 hours have proven, Gettleman is playing a game way, way over your heads. You have no idea of what he's going to do in the draft.

I know he isn't a all in for 1 season guy.. He is all about value and always has his mind on setting the team up in the future as well as trying to win now...
