Could Cleveland trade be an option?

Suppose we trade Cleveland for the number one overall pick give up 8 and both 2nd rounders. Grab Myles Garrett! would that be something gettleman considered when he traded away Ealy? Cleveland would heave #8 & #12 than 4 second rounds. So that would certainly be an option to build a team in Cleveland?? Would it be worth it?

I find it amusing that people are acting like that would be giving up too much, Cleveland would hang up if that is all you offered. You'd have to throw in more than that to jump from 8 to 1.

Now if Cleveland did offer us Garret for just 8 and our 2 seconds you take it and don't look back. Garrett has that much potential.

What?  this makes no sense I thought you were going to suggest trading down to Cleveland.  How about we trade our 8 and 115 to Cleveland for their 12 and 65 instead.  Thinking we could still get OJ Howard here at 12 and use that 65 and our 40 to get to around 23 again where Ross and McCaffrey are, if they still are.

Edit: We could still keep that 64th pick from NE if this worked out.

I'm more on the line of thinking that if we were to trade that Dave would trade back in the first for another high draft pick.

It's all on how the draft starts falling.

I could see him taking Fournette or Howard and then jumping back up for A defensive end or even a receiver depending on how they fall.

The Panthers are not ONE player away.  We need a healthy infusion of young talent which is exactly what we are about to embark upon in this year's draft.  DG did his due diligence in FA, may or may not be done in FA and we are going to draft the 2017 draft like a boss.

I covet our 3 first and second round picks.  Don't give them up for a possible Eric Fisher.
