It could be official as soon as Monday per Jason LaCanfora.

I remember when the Rams vote to move to LA happened, it seemed like it was overnight.

After being a skeptic throughout this process and especially in the aftermath of owner Mark Davis’ deal with casino magnate Sheldon Adelson falling apart around the Super Bowl, there are too many people I trust telling me this has become basically a fait accompli for me to deny it any longer. By Monday night, Davis will be cracking open the bubbly and toasting to his future on the Strip, because with the NFL including a formal vote on Vegas on its official agenda for the annual spring meeting, there is almost no time for this to fall apart now.

To make this Charlotte related, one of the "supposed" reasons the CCC had chicken $hitted out of an MLS vote is a future Panthers Stadium.  But with no LA or even Vegas need anymore and no cities in logical sight of a team and a backlog of cities like Buffalo, Jacksonville and New Orleans in dire need of new stadiums, there's less than zero chance the Panthers will ever be a true relocation candidate.

Just now, Snake said:

They should have a room in the stadium where you can bet on the game. Now that would be fun and put more butts in seats.

The stadium will be right across from Mandalay Bay and with the creation of a bridge or tunnel over I-15, it should be no more than a 10 minute walk to the stadium.

For those that are worried the stadium will be empty, there are over 65,000 rooms in Vegas with majority of mid to high rollers getting comped on entertainment. A vast number of the seats will be bought by the Sands, MGM Resorts, Caesars Properties and Wynn and given out as comps to entice travelers.

    • thats fair.   I was beginning to think rookie punter was in the plans
    • Sam Martin   CARPunter#6 Panthers re-signed P Sam Martin to a two-year contract. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Martin’s deal is up to $5 million. Martin joined the Panthers last season on a one-year deal and wound up booting 56 punts for an average of 47.2 yards per punt. Martin is a 13-year vet of the league who has spent time with four different franchises. He landed a career-best 48.2 percent of his kicks inside his opponent’s 20-yard line last season.
    • Surprised CB is that low.  19th is odd spot. For many recent drafts, teams only felt there were around 14 first round players.  So to many 19 is just an early second and doesn't hold the value of a first.  If you go off- the smart path of LT, QB, edge, WR, CB, etc. Whatever your OG, Safety, ILB, etc needs to be a difference maker, that's the key point. I've said the 8th best edge is better than the 1st safety. Same for QB and even WRs. You should 100% factor in position value.  MHS you've been wanting a FS, let me tell you its super difficult to be a difference making FS. You're just sooo farrrr away from the action and the end result most times. If you're in the play, defense made mistakes in order. Now to talk out of both sides, maaaaaann that white boy from Oregon....I thought he crushed the combine and honestly that alone made me rethink "is he worth 19 now?!?!" he's now in the discussion for me, but still below others.    Plus I feel TE is vastly underrated in value terms. But looking at the last 20 years of TEs in the first, its down right bad. You're better like X10 better drafting one in 4th or 5th.
