Just read this. Thanks for taking the time to write all Of this.

Fournette or McCaffrey.  Either would make this offense better. I personally prefer McCaffrey.

Same.  Everyone talks about us having to change our scheme if we grabbed McC....I think that we would have to adjust more to get the full benefit of LF....but whatever.

We need to evolve this offense no matter who we select....LF will just give them a security blanket.

The Panthers don't run a system that favors the rules....we need to change that.

I agree with evolving the offense. I just think that for this coaching staff that means more power running out of the I formation and more 2 tight end sets. I don't see us doing lots of creative things with RBs. Maybe it's my lack of confidence in our offensive coaches but I don't see it so that is why I don't even consider McCaffrey as a high consideration.

@KB_fan Just out of pure curiosity, have you ever analyzed RB trends in past drafts and how round correlates to success?

Nope, sorry.  I'd never done ANY draft analysis of any kind until last year, and this year I continue to be too swamped with work to do any thing.  The unexpected medical leaves of two colleagues has me extra-busy with little time for football stuff, I'm afraid.  I thought my schedule was going to lighten up a bit about a month ago, but sadly, now it looks like I'll continue to be swamped until early June.

Ah makes sense. Well at least that'll be in time for the drudge weeks of the time between OTAs and training camp. Hope you'll have enough time to help fill in those news-less weeks!

I certainly will try, though I'll be in Europe early June for a bit.
