i wouldve traded the pick down lower in the first and get extra picks but looking back regret the one we did to the jets. We couldve had darelle revis and had a dominate shutdown corner which we could really use.

There's a *chance* that trading up for Brown will be seen as one of the dumbest moves in an NFL team's history if we do end up with the worst record in the league and had a chance to draft Bradford to replace Jake and if Brown doesn't pan out. And if Bradford turns out to be absolutely deserving of a #1 pick. Sadly, all of those ifs are definite possibilities.

That's true. But as it is now, it looks like we might have traded away an overall #1 pick for Everette Brown, who has been a middling second-round player who's currently injured and was struggling for playing time. Still early, but this is looking extremely bad.

What we did in this draft has the potential to put this franchise back an easy 5 years.... the mess with Brown for a future #1 along with Martin not doing squat and a DT we drafted who can't play over Nick Hayden spells disaster

Correct. Technically that's Marty Hurney's job, who is gone along with Fox. Our new GM will be hamstrung for quite some time.

Hindsight? Bullshit I was ripped on this and other panthers message boards the day of the draft and again here after training camp started because I've stated multiple times that I thought the trade to get Brown was a big mistake.

Now I haven't been going "see here I'm right and your all wrong" because personally I would have so much rather been wrong on the whole thing but I'll be damned if I'm going to sit quietly and have someone tell me hindsight is 20/20 when I predicted this bs.
