Delivery drones will take some of that away.

They will be good for super priority mail but they simply cant handle the volume ups and fedex deal with.  Unless they can make unmanned flying ups trucks with robotic delivery something or others.

There is a push to make cargo planes unmanned.  If they could do it trucks would be too.  Drones to deliver small packages robots to deliver large ones.

Learn how to live off the land and be a mountain man. Those outdoors life skills are the best security you can have. Fish, hunt, learn what plants you can eat or not eat, building shelter, starting fires, etc. That can never be taken away from you by a robot or sh*t like that.

I graduated in electronics engineering. It's more of a hobby than anything else, but based on what I have been seeing over the past couple of years, there are a lot of jobs opening up related to technology and it's getting harder and harder to back fill them. If technology will eventually replace most jobs, the jobs that make technology will be the last to go.

Anything engineering will definitely remain very demanding over the next decades, but to remain in the industry you have to A) enjoy what you do because it's not a typical clock-in/clock-out environment and B) always seek to expand your knowledge portfolio by constantly wanting to learn more. Otherwise you will become outdated.

Godspeed.

Data Analyst, Statistics, Excel Guru, SAP administrator, accounting, comptroller - Take raw data from your company and put it in terms that others will understand.

Tedious work that no one wants to do but everyone in an organization needs and uses.
