Being a fan doesn't entail blindly accepting everything your team does. Its a product that I pay hard earned money to indulge in. If there's something I don't like I have a right to be pissed about it.

And we have a right to think you're being a dumbass.

At this moment, several of us are exercising that right.

Good. Then it's mutual.

Ask anyone, I don't blindly accept anything, but I will never ever root for my team to fail---whether it be players, coaches, or the execs! That's a very bad attitude.

We've had some good years under the current regime. Has it been perfect? No. But we've had some surprisingly good years, and anyone else hat's being honest would say that but for some hiccups last year, the needle has been gradually moving up.

This season will tell the tale of the tape. I hope it's a good one. Notice that I said "hope." So, no, I don't take anything for granted, but I don't hope for failure. That would be more disappointing than any draft pick.

McCaffrey is just the beginning---but a piece of the puzzle. We have a few more good ones coming our way.

I was among the anti McCaffrey people before the draft but now that he's a Panther I'm excited as hell and hope he'll be as good as DG's comp in Curtis Martin. I don't understand rooting for or expecting a Panthers player to fail either. I didn't love the Funch pick before or after even but I embraced him and still don't consider him a bust. I trust the FO to make decisions better than me and am happy to follow closely and root for us to win, while also being realistic about some players and how we stack up with other teams.

Idgaf of you think I'm a shitty fan. The Panthers are the only team I like but if it means suffering thru another poo year or two to weed out shitty picks by a shitty coach and gm then so be it.

When we go to SB52, we want your fan card back.
