How Strong is Curtis Samuel...

Just to throw it out there on the bench reps, I thought this was pretty dang impressive-

McCaffrey - 10

Samuel - 18**

Moton - 23

Hall - 18**

Armah - 26

Not saying this means ANYTHING at all just thought it was a really interesting fact. (Feel free to use the internet to confirm, no time to link)

(EDIT - College stats / combine info included in the video)

Wait our slot receiver and our DE prospect benched the same amount of reps? Hall needs to be eating some major Wheaties this year.

No doubt.  Hall has good height and is long (kinda like Hardy) but he needs to bulk up for sure.

He will. He is a template. We can mold him the way we want. If he was a finished product hes be a first rounder

Actually, 23 for a guy that's 319 is pretty unimpressive... I hope he's athletic.

18 for a guy the size of Samuel is very impressive.

Also you need to consider arm length on a guy as large as Moton, but his agility measurements were also some of the highest at his position.

I think we may look back at this in a couple years and say to ourselves as fans that the 6-10 season was worth it...I doubt we'd have half of these players if we'd made the playoffs.

Very similar to DAL last season (but due to injury) we finished with a bad record, but were picking top 10 each round as a playoff team / SB caliber team.

It's an exciting time to be a fan.

Well I meant Armah's number was fairly impressive, not Moton's.

Valid point.  If he's long, that hurts the bench reps.

He can still be a great player either way...

Armah doing more reps than Moton is impressive

I may be catching Igo's FB fetish, I'm getting way too excited about this kid who's never even played the position. He just looks like he'd knock the piss out of you though.

    • Oh I was.  But we still had great players.
    • You keep AT unless he WANTS to get traded to a contender during the season.  He's valuable, TET, XL, and Coker need to learn how to be PROFESSIONALS on game day, practice, and the off-season.  That's what you get from AT.  ADDITIONALLY, he is clutch.  He is steady.  At is that savvy vet who will always flash. I really think they keep 7 WR's if Brycen can operate on special teams.  Week 1 you may see us heavy on WR and OL because of the massive amount of injuries across the league.  Renfrow may even be cool starting on the PS since he lives close and wouldn't need to uproot his family.  You can still make nearly 400K as a vested veteran on an NFL practice squad.  You see more veterans hanging around since the age limit was lifted. I think the 1st 53 and PS looks like so...... Offense: (25) QB (2) Young / Dalton RB (3) Chuba/Rico/Etienee WR (7) T-Mac/XL/AT/Coaker/Renfrow/JHjr/Brycen TE (3) Tremble/Sanders/Evans OL (10) Icky/Lewis/Corbett/Hunt/Moten/Brady/Mayes/Yosh/Zavala/Kingston Defense: (25) DL: (6) Brown/Robinson/Turk/Bobby B/Cam Jackson/Sam Roberts OLB: (5) Wonnom/PJ2/NicSic/Princely/Incoon ILB: (5) Rozeboom/TW/Windmon/Cherelus/Bam CB: (5) Horn/MJ/CSW/Thorton/Evans S: (4) Tre'Mo/Ransom/Demani/Scott Specialists: (3) JJ/Fitz/Martin Last spot: Right now I have it as a toss up between DJ Johnson and Bam.  Until NicSic can come back we need an extra edge.  Do we utilize TW more as a blitzer from the middle to keep Bam safe?  I'm not worried about DJJ getting picked up from another team, a little more concerned with Bam. Practice Squad: DavidMoore/JamesMitchell/JacolbyGeorge/Tuttle/Crumdley/Ray/DJJohnson/Kantra/Carter/Blacksheer/ Wright/KrysBarnes/MichaelReid/Safety pick up/RB pick up/QB pick up
