What is this based on?

All primates eat every day, all day.

Science? History? It's well known that we are built to survive feast and famine. World record fast was 382 days with nothing but a multivitamin and he suffered zero ill effects. Eating everyday, three times a day, snacking and our portions are the reason we are obese as a nation.

we weren't "not created to eat daily" we have biological ancestors who evolved along with a scarcity of food millions of years before domestication made chewing down daily a thing. this is not a case for not eating daily. this is a case for being able to survive it. good god some people will believe anything if it's wrapped in the right language

I do it. Typically do a 36 hour fast followed by 36 hours of eating. 3 day cycle.  Really cuts the weight. Add in Keto and its pretty insane

saying its "starving" is completly ignorant. You dont starve until your body doesnt have any fat to use and you break down vital body tissues

wana lose weight? Stop pitting food in your mouth. That simple. Obviously dont go too far with it.

Serious health and spiritual benifits of fasting

I do it daily. Stop consuming calories at 10PM, don't eat again until 2 PM the next day. I feel great. Not even hungry in that fasting period, and I work nights. So I spend 8 hours of my 12 hour shift hungry, then go to bed. Dropped 10lbs in about 3 weeks, but hitting a plateau because I also haven't been in the gym in about 2 of those weeks for sheer laziness more than anything. Going back at it tomorrow, so hopefully I can drop another 20 in the coming months.
