At this point I wouldn't care if Funchess is looking like Randy Moss out there , doesn't mean squat if he can't produce much during the regular season

and anyone who has been paying attention this offseason should find it unsurprising that Shepard is aweing. He is going to make the team and be a key piece of our success.

Indeed.  We learned our lesson last training camp.  Balling out in offseason doesn't mean much...  Do it on Sundays (and certain Monday nights & Thursday nights) between September & February please.

• Safety Dean Marlowe picked off a Joe Webb pass that bounded off tight end Eric Wallace, and Marlowe later had a nice pass breakup against tight end Ed Dickson. Marlowe also was in position if live contact were allowed to quickly and forcibly bring down wide receiver Russell Shepard – arguably the best offensive performer of the day – on a short reception.
