They are both off to a good start, at least. Man, that WR room is stacked this year.

Instead of mediocre talent like last year, we got some above average to real good talent in terms of being stacked with guys having a LOT of upside.

Crazy to think now.

The Lord is Russ Shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green astroturf; He leadeth me beside the still gatorade.

He restoreth my football soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for the Panthers sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for The Atlanta Falcons blew a 25 point lead.

Amen.

Amen

How sacrilegious of you Zod ;) I like it.

and anyone who has been paying attention this offseason should find it unsurprising that Shepard is aweing. He is going to make the team and be a key piece of our success.

At this point I wouldn't care if Funchess is looking like Randy Moss out there , doesn't mean squat if he can't produce much during the regular season

Indeed.  We learned our lesson last training camp.  Balling out in offseason doesn't mean much...  Do it on Sundays (and certain Monday nights & Thursday nights) between September & February please.

  • Safety Dean Marloweicon-article-link.gif picked off a Joe Webbicon-article-link.gif pass that bounded off tight end Eric Wallaceicon-article-link.gif, and Marlowe later had a nice pass breakup against tight end Ed Dicksonicon-article-link.gif. Marlowe also was in position if live contact were allowed to quickly and forcibly bring down wide receiver Russell Shepardicon-article-link.gif – arguably the best offensive performer of the day – on a short reception.
