They could have just had the dead massing at eastwatch and dany could be like  LOL I'LL GO fug THEM UP REAL QUICK and lose a dragon that way. Try to defeat the dead early and give them what they need to pass.  Coulda been a sweet battle.  But no.  We get some retarded poo instead.

It's a shame what they've done with the Bran character.  He's purely on the show for the purposes of exposition of plot forwarding now.

I must be the only one to think that Arya was a key player to get Sansa to set up LF for a public trial and execution.  I am guessing that LFs death was supposed to be satisfying, but it was the opposite for me.

A lot of wasted space for characters in my opinion.  If Theon's longboats capsized and everyone drowned, I wouldn't care.  If Euron and the entire Greyjoy clan got swallowed by the sea, it wouldn't seem like anything was lost.  Melisandre, Varys, Brianne, Tormund, etc.... they have all been relegated to being part of the scenery/window dressing.

I do think that the guy playing Bronn is getting a lot of mileage out of his character's appearances.  He has absolutely set himself up as a guy that could defect to the winning side at any time and come out okay.

All in all, I had figured that GoT would become increasingly Hollywood as they got further from the books.  Last season is time for lots of battles, romantic drama, a predictable plot twist or two and a "satisfying" Cercei death scene to cap off the series.

i'm really bummed that zombie dragon breathes fire. it should breathe ice/cold of some sort. we knew it was going to melt the wall, but that's weak sauce and totally screws up the whole fire vs ice theme. hell, that's even the name of the whole damn thing, and they threw it out the window for a cheap way to get over the wall. you can't just make the fire blue, and suddenly it fits. lamezilla.

The show would suffer without Cersei, she's probably the best actor and obviously best villain.

Have you ever watched an episode with the commentary from the DVDs? She is almost always commenting and she is hilariously dirty. She constantly doesn't remember anything on screen and couldn't care less. It's amazing.

Yeah she's that good with this character.    Her interviews are always pretty interesting too.

I wouldn't be surprised, or at least, find out there's some valid motives there.    There has to be a twist here with motives, or I'd be disappointed and it would feel very un-GRRM like.   Unless the books are going to be VASTLY different than the show.

Since no one in any realm has progressed in technology beyond the sword for 8,000 years, I think the NK is there to put them out of their misery and start over. So, yeah. That makes him the good guys.

Didn't really look like fire to me.   And there was no flowing water as you would expect if it was melted by fire. There is a theory that it was blue fire so hot that the wall vaporized, but the best description I have heard yet is magic zombie breath.

Yeah it did not look like fire to me either more like an ice lazer blast or something cutting into the wall.
