Another tidbit from my source

This is why a despise surgery. With or without it you will still have to go through same physic therapy time. In many cases you prolong the healing. Surgeries do not heal! The body heals itself. Of course fans want him on the field but at what expense? Let these things heal naturally and do not rush back.

Reminder this is the same user who predicted Peppers a day earlier. He's got credibility lol.

For the record I was told it, I did not predict it.  I do not make predictions, I pass along second hand information from a reliable source.  ;)

Da fuq?!? All I see in this post is how medical science is bad (and grammatical errors, for days)...

I had both my knees replaced 9 weeks ago and during that time it's been common to have pain, swelling and stiffness to come from nowhere knock you back a couple steps for a while. His surgery wasn't as serious as mine, but my knees aren't worth anything near his shoulder.

Kudos to you for having both at the same time. I had one almost 3 years ago, and when I saw people in the rehab who had done both at once, I was like "shoot me now" if I had done both. I don't know how you did it. Now, I have to have the other done at some point. Holding out as long as I can. (Agree re the pain, swelling, stiffness comment.)

Some folks opt to do both because as you said, once you see the pain and rehab it makes you put off the second one or in some cases not do it at all. On the other hand doing both seems rather masochistic given walking and pain management are real challenges.

I have no regrets and I'm glad I did both at once. I didn't want to do one and then have to count down to the next one, I'd rather suck it up and get them both done. My surgeon rarely recommends bilateral but both of mine were so bad he didn't know which was worse. He was also concerned I'd blow the non-repaired knee out during rehab. Lastly, I had valgus (knock) knees so I then would have had one straight and one crooked, creating other issues had I not done both.

My feet have been just as big of a pain as my knees due to the straightening. That and my IT bands were horrible!

I also watched the video of the surgery before because I'm an info junky, but many people who do the same back out after watching, lol.

Somewhere, I have a video of my first arthroscopic surgery ... I watched about 22 seconds of it before I got wigged out.
