Other people have gotten the better deal with trades with NE.  The problem is Tom Brady and the AFC east make it a moot point because they are always contending.

They have also missed on a lot more draft picks than people think. It's just that Belichick has collected so many 2nd round picks over the years that the odds were always in his favor.

Soon to be the narrative with the Seahawks and NFCW.  Their transactions as a whole (draft/trades/FA) have been horrid for nearly 5 years now, but the straight flush from 2010-2012 and a horrible division keep them afloat.
