- Punters can last in their prime well into their mid-40s.

- He made our STs serviceable singlehandedly.

- It's saved us from overpaying a mediocre Nortman.

Fair argument. On the other hand though, players like Dak Prescott and Darren Sproles were 4th round picks, so you never know.

Then again, the pick went to the Browns so it will most likely end up being a poo player.

Eh, it could go either way. Richardson has apparently become a cancer.

possibly, but Seahawks have a decent locker room and Coach.  I feel they can deal with the character of Sheldon.  They had a deposable/valuable asset and they got another valuable asset.

Richardson finished second among 4-3 defensive ends in run-stop percentage at 11.5 percent.

Richardson tied for the fifth-highest PFF run-defense grade among edge defenders with a grade of 87.9 in 2016.

Their D-Line definitely just got scarier.  Sometimes these players have burnt bridges with current team and just need a new home.

The Seahawks have continually been reported as a team with deep locker room division.
