Bill's working our QB Joe Webb

Bruh... This was an inside job. We gifted him to them. Nobody wants Joe Webb. He's Joe Webb. However he had become engrained in our culture. Which is now also the spinoff culture in Buffalo. They need system guys to push that culture. That's why they too older guys like Tolbert too.

Joe knows our system. He had a better preseason than DA. He isn't a young developing talent, but it seemed like he was coming into his own in OUR system. Plus he is dynamic and gives our defence a comparison to Cam they can practice against. It would have been nothing to let Joe be our number 2. I'd take him over half the 2s in the league right now.

P.s. I'm drunk and not too insecure to say I fell in love with Joe this preseason. I feel like Byrd provably would still be on the practice squad if it wasn't for Joe.

Who do they have besides Taylor anyway? He's only mediocre, at best.

Their QB situation is shaky. Taylor is in concussion protocol. TJ Yates is the backup signed this year and he just got out of concussion protocol. Behind TJ is their rookie draft pick, Nathan Peterman. They need a good, steady, vet QB right now. Webb will do well there.

Hey Joe,

Welcome to the Buffalo Bills. We are happy to give you this paycheck.

Now, what can you tell us about the Panthers new offense?

lol I don't think they'll need too much of that. McDermott is very smart and was with the Panthers long enough that he will be able to dissect any offense Shula thinks will surprise him just by looking at the tape from preseason and the San Fran game. He'll figure out a way to attack us. That's what worries me about the Buffalo game.

He can't stop us.

    • T-Mac is a nickname, Tet is a shortening of Tetairoa. Like you said below... your name is Jonathan, I could see "Jonny" being considered a nickname, but Jon isn't a nickname, it's a shortening of Johnathan, see the difference? And if your mom named you Jonathan for it's biblical significance/meaning, because she was very religious, I think it would be different. T-Mac is Polynesian, so much in their culture has deeper meaning for them, particularly names.  So for his mom to feel this way, I highly doubt it's just because she likes the name Tetairoa and not Tet, it's much more likely than not to be because the name itself has a deeper meaning in their culture.   Particularly as T-Mac himself has often talked about how much his Polynesian heritage means to himself and his family. And no, I'm not saying all this because of how much he's my guy, if he was just "normal american" and his name was Jonathan and he didn't like fans calling him Jon, I'd probably just say tough poo.  It's that he's Polynesian and I know things like names have a much deeper meaning in their culture than they do in ours for the most part. For whatever it's worth, a quick google search.......
