I got nothing but love for JDM.  Based on the Negan hype and casting I thought it would be an awesome character.

I think less is more with TV TWD villains.  Hell the claimer leader probably was the best overall TV villian to date and we barely saw him or knew him is probably why.

We got more Negan in the first episode of last season than comic readers got in 20 issues.  This is one example of them blowing the character.

TV Dwight is overall just a weak bitch.  His old lady had more balls and was tougher.

Another example of you acting like we should like a character more.....simply because you like the comic character.

Dwight is also the only Savior with the balls to subvert Negan even though he's got it pretty good. And once again, TV viewers have seen more of Dwight at this point in the story than readers had. Keep winning my arguments for me, it saves me some meaningless effort.

I don't know what your arguement is outside of you not liking people poo talking, shitty TV characters ( that happened to be good comic characters.  which as I said, means nothing to TV only viewers)

That these characters haven't developed yet, and you should stop being illiterate and go read the comics. Also that the writers are butchering the characters and the plots.

I should of likely just read the comic and never bothered with the stupid show.  I am down to almost literally no TV outside of sporting events.  GOT and TWD only things left in the rotation.  GOT about done.  Just can't get TWD after devoting years to it.  Keep thinking one day they will hire good writers.

another horrible episode.   They will milk this whole season of outpost battles and give us a big one at the end of the season.  More of doing the same old story archs over and over.  Oh look, Morgan probably hit his crazy switch again to not be a killing machine.  WOW, didn't see that coming.

If this happens

I know my wife will officially be done.

Man, I could see that happening. Or maggie loses her baby and raises Gracie.

You guys really hate this show. Its always been an up and down pairing of good acting with bad, decent action with shitty decision making by the characters.... like why the fug are Ezekiel and company just standing in the middle of the field when they havent cleared the big building?  Why not just let the zombie hoard eat the imprisoned saviors? What good could possibly come by taking them to the hill-top or by letting Gregory into the hill-top?

I feel like a big chunk of the saviors should be gone at this point.

Interested to see if the garbage people re-appear or if the all-female crew at the coast shows up to save the day at some point.

this past episode was pretty good, but overall a bore.

If death is the outcome, why do I care? I get not following the traditional storyline, but this should have ended 2 seasons ago.

seriously? what refection of reality is it showing? tbh reality has passed the concept..

I'm getting bored as well.  All this internal struggle with every damn character. That's the only plot right now besides firing millions of rounds at each other that they magically keep finding. Maybe Eugene is plugging away making bullets for the saviours

They really needed to expedite the time jump, to let some of these characters go and bring in new/fresh arcs.

I only halfway watched this week and don't feel like I missed much.

Why kill Judith now, when they have had plenty of opportunities in the past. If they go that route, it shows that the showrunners do things without any plans. Even introducing another baby at this point, one that seems pretty irrelevant even, is just crap.

As PSC said, 3-6 were pretty good, and I would even give 1-2 a fair nod. But the comics just killed a somewhat interesting character off in a pretty cheap way, too, so I'm starting to wonder if even Kirkman is losing it.

For the comic readers,

I think I'm gonna like Princess. She reminds me of Negan without the sadism. Did anyone else here catch that she mentioned her brother in present tense, not past, like he's still alive. Kind of odd that Eugene's group didn't take note. I even wondered if they could be setting her up as someone to attach Negan to.
