PIE for McCaffrey's best game as a pro

Yes he had less yards than the Aints game but McC looked amazing today, against a solid defense. Looked his best as a runner and it's not even close. Honestly, reminded me of DeAngelo back in the day. He was smooth running and actually went through tackles today. Was sure handed as always catching the ball and getting open. We need to give this kid a bigger opportunity running the ball, and open things up for this offense because Stew isn't cutting it (and that's aside from 2 fumbles today). McC and CAP should be carrying our run game.

Make CMC the starter, and spell him with CAP.

I've long been a Stewart guy, but it looks like it's time to begin moving on.

This. Give McC 25 touches a game, with at least 15 rushes per game from here on out. Use him and CAP like we used to use D-Will and Stew and like ATL used their two back last year.

    • i presented this in another thread. he throws better to the out breaking routes the wr run, but almost nothing to the inside. that is half the options on a wr route tree. How do you run an offense like that?  even the outbreaking routes he throws are moonballs, that allow the DBs to catch up unless the wr is wide open. he has to throw with a lot of anticipation becuase he doesnt have the arm strenght to get it there if he is a little late. thats probably why you see balls behind the wrs.
