So you'd jump on that bandwagon with both feet.

I have a feeling you're not alone.

He’s not. I’d be willing to give it the old college try. Two okay games is not enough to convince me that Shula isn’t a liability. I still have complete faith in his ability to stab the team and fans in the back and poo the fuging bed in the playoffs, probably in the Super Bowl again. Hue Jackson may not mesh well, but neither did Chudzinski and look how our offense performed under him. IMHO almost anyone would be an improvement over Shula. And it’s extremely disappointing to me that Rivera has stuck by him this long.

i think we should continue to try to fly that fire Shula banner over every stadium we play in the rest of the season to force Shula to compensate and be just a little less of a fugtard the rest of this year.

Can I tell you how I really feel now Mr. Scot? Lmao

Then again @Mr. Scot, we also know this team values family atmosphere over winning and good business. My feeling is that if G$ was still here and allowed to do his job, we would have eventually been filled with disparate pieces in the coaching staff that wouldn’t hang out outside of work but would field a monster a là the Patriots every season. That I do not blame on Rivera. That comes straight from Big Cat. And the man can run his business how he wants, but he made a terrible mistake letting Gettleman go.

Honestly, I'd rather avoid guys like this who can upset the organizational balance. I think he's a helluva offensive coach, but there's too much smoke for their not to be some fire regarding some of the baggage that comes along with him.

Is our current "organizational balance" a good thing?

...One of my favorite choices for a coordinator - in any phase of the game - is someone who's been good enough to get a head coaching job or consideration but has either failed at it (like Dick LeBeau) or just doesn't seem interested (a la Jim Johnson)...

A coach of that sort could be available next year.

I am about this x 1000.

I've been saying this forever but if you look at the coaching staff of almost any top team, you will recognize a lot of former head coaches. Get those guys and you win.

Hell he's even got experience with a streaky QB and a pass catching rb.

and to the notion that he rubs people the wrong way... Shula doesn't?
