I guess you can kiss our Championship dreams goodbye now.... Pfft

In all seriousness, hope he heals up..

Now we need a backup PG, PF and Center.. Wasnt this supposed to be the deepest Hornets team evar?!?

Too bad we couldn't have gotten involved in the Jahlil Okafor trade. But to be honest, I think Frank plays better at C than at PF.

Projected backup lineup: MCW, Lamb, Bacon, JOB, Frank

My preferred backup lineup: Monk, Bacon, Nic, Job, Frank. I would stagger in MKG at PF and that would help with the help defense. I wouldn't play Monk at PG. I would have Nic as the Point Forward and be the playmaker of the group. Never going to happen but would love to see the lineup sometime.

    • I swear Morgan didn't have 1st(#1 overall) or a 2nd rounder in this rebuild.......Then his first 2nd rounder that he gave up two 5ths for is now out for basically 2 years..... Football is not forgiving....
    • This. They better not even think about bringing him back if they are short on TE's.
    • MHS, You are missing Claudin Cherelus is a LB that's in the mix for the 4th spot. He's been here for 2 years and had a couple injuries. I mean he was a wavier claim and been here for evero system, just had bad luck when given a chance. Jon Rhat is the current leader mainly cause of he is the ST ace. But Id say, Cherelus has the same % to make the roster.  CB has the recent wavier claim of MJ Devonshire a 2024 7th rounder. He's got the good-great combine numbers but he's small size. Still he's in the mix for backup duties, in fact all the non-UDFA are wavier claims.  ______________________________________________________________   Dam shame about Clowney. I view this as a bad move. I feel clowny is well worth the 7.7, even as a backup. He played hard the whole year without help. I just feel he would have helped more than either DJ Johnson or Barno.  My only cope is he's 32 and at any point his miro-knee could force him to drop off a cliff performance-wise. I wanted to keep him around at least until the trade deadline and if no chance at playoff, flip him for a anything. NFL is a meat grinder, no love for locals....
