I’m not saying it isn’t...I’d prefer we keep Captain there at nickel and not ask Shaq to do things he just isn’t able to do such as cover a slot WR

But you can’t say he isn’t an OLB when we haven’t given him a chance to become one. He could probably be similar in skillset to Thomas Davis if he was given the chance.

Does anybody even run a true 4-3 anymore? Seem a DB has replaced the LB a lot. We're going to lose with Shaq out there against Aaron

If I remember correctly, the concern was that Moton doesn’t have the lateral ability to pull from the guard position, because the position requires a lot of agility.

 

this was a discussion during pre-season on why he is best suited as a tackle for the long term.
