The documentary claims that eating an egg a day is as bad for your life expectancy as smoking five cigarettes a day, due to artery plaque buildup from high cholesterol content in eggs. But that assertion is based on outdated information, and recent research suggests that the effects of eggs are nowhere near comparable to those of cigarettes.

According to the World Health Organization, about 34,000 cancer deaths per year worldwide are attributable to diets high in processed meat, while about 1 million cancer deaths are due to tobacco smoking, 600,000 are due to alcohol consumption and more than 200,000 per year are due to air pollution.

In the film, several nutrition experts downplay the role of sugar in health problems and instead shift the focus to animal protein, despite the fact that plenty of research has linked sugar to diabetes and heart disease.

Yes, cigarettes are worse for you than meat.

Refined sugar probably is too.

Luckily, none of those three are necessary.

I think cutting sugar out is really all you need to do to be healthier when it comes to diet.

Refined sugar? It is a good step but only part of the equation. This includes white bread and white pasta which the pancreas treats the exact same way as sugar.

Don't cut out whole fruit though. (you can ditch fruit juice, it is no different than a soda)

"All you need to do"  Well that really depends on your current diet,  on your goals and how healthy you want to be. Everyone has that personal choice to make. You can always do more the questions do you want to.

Instead of working out 5 times a week you could work out 7 and throw in two a days sometimes and you could never eat sugar, never consume alcohol, never eat meat, never drink anything except water, never eat fried stuff or processed foods. You got to find a line that gets you the results you want.

Seriously though if people used condoms, stopped smoking, cut refined sugars and limited their meat and alcohol, the world as we know it would flip, evolution would shift, society and nature would thrive.

It's frustrating and pathetic people have zero self control. The above is not that hard, I mean it isn't hard at all but people act like they're dying or insulted if you say otherwise. Needs to change...and it is to an extent so I'm thankful for that.

    • I don't think working from memory is going to be very productive or useful. You would need to compare them all, which is far easier to do from the breakdowns of each game. That has tiered charts that give real data.  But, even then that wouldn't substitute for a trained eye(s) doing detailed film analysis to attempt to determine if we are modifying the offense dramatically for Bryce.
    • I think front office and general team culture under new ownership is sort of on the right track. The rookies all look incredible compared to where you'd expect each one of them to be right now. Lee's in game coaching is awful, he might be ok as a culture and developmental guy but that can't outweigh the in-game miscues and bad game plans. If LaMelo can't figure out the ankles then I think you gotta trade him for a haul, can't keep having your seasons lost every year because he can't stay on the court. And I say that as a big fan of him. Miller I think is unlucky, he looks likely to be an elite core player for us, but if he can't put together a stretch of healthy seasons he would trend towards LaMelo and need to be moved. I used to like Miles on the court a lot more but nowadays he's just an empty stat guy who needs to go. The short lived hot start to the season was fun but unless LaMelo and Miller both get and stay healthy within the next few weeks I can't even see us being a play-in team this year. And even if they do get healthy, we're probably looking at play-in at best, maybe barely compete for that fringe 6th seed.
