would allow us to win the division and kick the Falcons out of the playoffs with a win in ATL

If somehow the Aints and Falcons tie tomorrow it would be absolutely perfect. Falcons win would essentially guarantee them a playoff spot so I don't really want that happening, I'd much prefer we kick them out next week. But if the Aints win then that almost takes the division out of reach, we'd need to rely on the Bucs to play spoiler... A tie would make all our dreams come true.

Yeah I'm thinking they'll drop one of those. Much less confident in the Vikings losing one of their last two though. And less confident in the Aints losing one of their next two as well. I doubt there's really any real chance the Falcons wins tomorrow in NO with NO playing with the division on the line and after the first loss.

I think Falcons/Saints is 50/50 and Bucs/Saints is 30/70.  Either or both can happen.

Packers/Vikings IMO is 20/80.  Not likely but wouldn’t necessarily take a “miracle”.  Bears/Vikings is 5/95.  5 only because of the Vikings LONG history of $hitting on themselves.

Despite what Vegas says I like the Titans 60/40 over the Rams.  49ers/Rams 20/80 next week.  Would be higher but the game is in LA.

But it doesn’t. There’s a good chance that they lose to us and a good chance Detroit, Seattle or Dalls finish 10-6. A win against NO, gets them into the playoffs.

If the Falcons win they will have 10 wins. A loss to us makes them 10-6. The best any of those 3 teams can finish is 10-6. The Falcons beat all of those teams and hold the tiebreakers. What is so difficult about this?

I misread. My bad. On my phone. You are correct. A win and they are in. If we both win the playoffs are set aside from seeding. None of the teams with 4 losses will lose twice.

That's why I really want a tie from the Falcons/Aints game or an Aints win with them losing against the Bucs. I mean I can't control it obviously so I'll take whatever happens and the Falcons winning gives us a better chance at the division than the Aints winning, but I really don't want the Falcons to make the playoffs at all. I think we can win in NO in the playoffs given another shot at it, and we'd still have a chance for the division if the Bucs can play spoilers in week 17. If no tie, I may honestly prefer an Aints win to a Falcons win... This year, being a wildcard wouldn't be terrible for us. Look at our recent playoff experience compared to the other expected playoff teams...

    • Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.
    • This post was an error. Oops and sorry for the errors in the previous one. Too slow to edit.   We’ll see what they do.
    • I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
