The Giants have fired Marc Ross, the team’s vice president for player evaluation for the last five seasons.

The team’s new general manager, Dave Gettleman, on Saturday announced the move, his first since rejoining the franchise.

Ross had been with the Giants since 2007, serving six years as director of college scouting. Ross had been in charge of the Giants’ draft, along with the previous general manager, Jerry Reese, who was let go this month.https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/30/sports/football/giants-gm-dave-gettleman.html?rref=collection%2Fsectioncollection%2Fsports&action=click&contentCollection=sports&region=stream&module=stream_unit&version=latest&contentPlacement=2&pgtype=sectionfront

    • i presented this in another thread. he throws better to the out breaking routes the wr run, but almost nothing to the inside. that is half the options on a wr route tree. How do you run an offense like that?  even the outbreaking routes he throws are moonballs, that allow the DBs to catch up unless the wr is wide open. he has to throw with a lot of anticipation becuase he doesnt have the arm strenght to get it there if he is a little late. thats probably why you see balls behind the wrs.
