New Important Goal For Offense - Get to the 50 yard line

That's 25 yards to the 50. Is that hard? Too many 3 and outs on our side. Get to the 50 and play the field position game. Make the opposing offense drive the field. This is a very key piece in all of football

uh no if i throw the ball it might hit the ground, and that stops the clock.

Whats really worrying is how badly checkdowns to running backs gashed us last Sunday. If Matt Ryan can get huge plays by checking down to Devonta Freeman, what do you think the most accurate QB in NFL history and the most elusive RB in the league is going to do to you on short passes?

They can and will use that tactic this weekend.  And it will be a success because our coaches can't adjust.

Its not Shula and Ron out there whiffing on tackles. But I admit your setting them up for failure by bad play design having DBs and LBs play so far off their men and give them gigantic cushions .

I'm at the point where I almost woulnd't care if Brees beats us through the air, hes a HoF level accurate QB. I just want the team to be able to shut down their running game, which was something this defense supposedly prided themselves on .
