True dat.

Dick.

It's not even close, imo. I mean, we see last second plays to win it pretty often. A team doesn't blow a 25 point lead in 17 minutes, like, ever. Then it was in the SB.

Don't get me wrong, the loss sucked. But one was, simply put, the biggest choke in the history of sports.

Sure. But the Falcons loss took 17 minutes and people watching could see it happening. It was a tragic but slow death. Meanwhile the probability of your team winning was so high that your dickhead coach was too busy taunting Vikings fans to coach up his D for the "can't lose" moment. One was a choke job the other is literally referred to ask a fuging miracle. So spin it however you want to make you feel better, but either way they were both glorious to watch and something neither fan base and team will live down.

Falcons win probabability was higher than the Saints, actually.

Also, the Skol mock was after the field goal. Not during play. The DBs were coached, by their position coach, I might add. They were told to not interfere and play the sidelines. Williams thought he was early, which he was, and the young player panicked. Poo happens.

It sucked, no doubt, but there's not a single fan I know that thought we had it wrapped up. Falcon fans were damn near having a parade at halftime.

I can't tell you how fun it is watching you post "our terrible loss wasn't as bad as their terrible loss" posts. Brings me incredible joy.

that clip is a great way to start your morning BTW

I love that they show the Saints sideline before the play, and then right after it happens cut to a shot of Sean Payton's resting b--ch face.

The shots of Cam Jordan  yelling "no" as he watches helplessly and of Drew Brees disgustedly watching the replay on the jumbotron are equally amazing. You also get to see Marshon Lattimore slam his helmet to the ground.

But all in all, nothing tops Everson Griffen's wide-eyed reaction on the sideline (even as Linval Joseph tries to hug him and squeeze him and call him George).

It's kinda like, "Yeah, I lost my left leg in an accident, but you lost your right; now I don't feel so bad."

The improbable twist of fate during the last play of the Minnesota game is destined to become yet another classic moment in NFL playoff history.

However, the epic collapse of the Falcons on the NFL's biggest stage will likely stand apart from any other moment in NFL history as the greatest of all fails... by any team... ever.

Just think how (retrospectively) ho - hum a Vikings comeback it would have been if Williams had not ducked, had been early and PI call  (or no call and out of bounds) gave Vikings a chance to make winning FG from 51 yards.
