NFL rigged, Moon landing faked, Space aliens control the gubmint, and bunicorns are real.  All have about the same chance of being true.

The Money argument is ludicrous.  The amount of money they make is the same regardless of who is in the Superbowl.  If they were all that concerned about the ratings, and the NFL was rigged, the Eagles and Vikes would not be in this game.  The Packers and Cowboys would be.  Jacksonville would not be in the AFC championship game.

Most of the penalties called were legit.  A couple were borderline.  Jacksonville lost because its offense stopped scoring, and its defense wasn't going to stop Brady forever.  In short, they lost because New England is better,  Period, end of discussion.

Yes, because one penalty for ten yards was legit. :eyeroll:

Watching that Jags Collapse gave me nightmares of shula.

Gets big lead.

Goes to 3 play playbook (run middle, pass deep sideline boundary, 5 yard cross) in Jax case.

That pass to the rb (#30) killed the pats in the first.  Didnt even see him in the field, And didnt see another throw to the RB untio the very end there.  They only ran outside once in the 2nd nett8ng about 7 yards then never seen again.

Honestly, that first Super Bowl and the tuck rule bullcrap was a direct response to 9/11. What better for your average NFL viewing moron (not real hardcore football fans but average casual viewers) than to see PATRIOTS winning the Super Bowl after 9/11 and decades of sucking?

anyone remember the home game we had against the Saints after Katrina...I was at that game and remains the worst officiated game I believe I have EVER seen...

BTW- I blame the Jags coaching almost as much as the refs. Why? They should have KNOWN that crap was going to happen and put as many points on the board as possible earlier.

Because they went conservative they allowed the bad calls to cost them. RR needs to learn that lesson, as well.

For everyone crying about conspiracy theorist and saying it’s not possible the NFL is rigged in some way or another. Do you not follow Soccer and what happened with FIFA?

Fifa were investigating for fraud, money laundering, bungs etc etc. Nohing about actual match fixing, more to do with regional and national officials getting cash for votes etc.

    • I watched a clip of all the offensive snaps. Young threw into some tight coverage and the guys made some plays on the ball. He also really missed some throws.  He has this middle of the field thing into a tight window pretty good and made three or four nice plays but he was just too inconsistent with his accuracy especially in the red zone. Today and in general.    That Int where people were chastising Legette for ‘not fighting through the coverage’, he in no way could have gotten to that ball. IMO. I think he thought it was going to hit the ground and didn’t see the defender coming for it. But not sure what he could have done. The camera doesn’t show the spatial relationship very well, I think the ball was way off. maybe 6 feet or more off target to the inside of the field.  Rico is a beast. And a very good receiver.   That was my impression without dissecting and rewinding, just letting the video roll. I did rewind the int two or three times to look at that one.
    • My biggest issue with keeping Darnold, which I felt we should have done, is we would still have Fitterer. And everything that came with that.  I think Morgan is going to be good.  Baker, just did not play well at all here. Not sure what else we were supposed to take away from it at the time.  That’s my short ‘I don’t want to argue about it’ take.
    • Even if we somehow make the playoffs we will be one and done so fast. Seattle, Rams, TB, Panthers, Detroit and Philly are all better than us.
