Rather go for a younger back that can break long runs. If Derrius Guice is available in the 1st round, pull the trigger. A pro bowl quality back, imo.

It's well known that runningbacks go off a cliff at around 30 years old. AP already looked to be trending that way last season and he turns 33 soon. It's just not a good idea at all.

Cut stu, draft Penny in the 2nd and bam, we have a young power/scat back duo and are 4-5 million dollars under the cap. use said millions to lock up norwell, get a vet WR and draft a FS in the first.

He looked extremely slow in the few play I saw him run for NO last year, like he had cinderblocks tied to his feet.

People talking about how we can fix RB in the draft, and they forget it's been 10 years or so since we traded a capable running back that was really productive for us.

Every running back would have looked slow in our offense last year, and the only ones that wouldn't would be too small to fight back from -3 yards to get to the line of scrimmage.
