Could Equanimeous St. Brown be Norv's Vincent Jackson?

Y'all need to give up the Sammy Watkins crap he is not coming here. We don't have the cap room either. We have too many positions that need to be fill we can't afford him. Forget It!!!!

We absolute have the cap room. We could use Norwell's money to sign Watkins. It's basically what does Hurney/Ron/Norv feel is more important to the team a Tackle or WR.

Yep, we definitely have the cap space for a big money FA if we choose to do it. Not gonna lie though, I'm nervous about giving Watkins big money though primarily due to his injury history. I'd almost rather pickup a Mike Wallace type for considerably less money.

I wouldn't be mad at this either. But if we are going the cheap WR route I rather get a WR still in his prime who could do the same thing Wallace does.

I would prefer Pryor/Brown if we are going cheap WR.

*Also if we do sign Wallace or a older vet WR, im 100% certain we will draft a WR in the top 3 rounds.

Yeah, the reason that I'm on the Wallace train is because he'd basically be a two year stop gap because we're drafting another WR early and continuing to develop Samuel.

Three of five on the line?

Norwell and Ryan Kalil I get. Is Matt Kalil the third?

By the way, I'd like to see what Norv Turner could do with Taylor Gabriel.

Yes.  I think we get out of his contract next offseason.

Gotcha. That's what I figured you meant.

Having to rebuild almost an entire line is gonna be tricky.

I know.  And we are all bent out of shape over WR---

2018 Needs: Starters-Guard, Free Safety, Corner, Wide Receiver.

Rotational needs:  DT, RB, S.

2019 Needs: Starters- Center, Tight End, Linebacker, Strong Safety.  (Tackle could be needed if Moton cannot play LT OR if Williams gets away from us somehow)

Think of it this way--Olsen is a 34-year old UFA after 2018.  We will cut Matt Kalil to save $$$.  Ryan is gone too. While this frees up about $35m in cap room, it gives us a chance to improve and get younger, but we need chemistry on the OL-

And guys whose names we have associated with this team forever, are not going to be part of it anymore.

This team is going to be undergoing a massive facelift in the next year or two, and of course there being a new owner is going to be a big part of that.

I just don't understand why they'd want to re-sign him or why he'd want to re-sign there. He isn't a good fit in their offense and Goff doesn't have the downfield passing ability to properly utilize his best asset which is his deep speed. It's just a bad fit. The Rams should just own that it wasn't a good trade for them and resist the urge of throwing good money after bad.

Well that is a logical viewpoint.
