Gantt: Sale process "ramping up"

Further confirmation that the sale should be finalized in May, though oddly enough the story also indicates that there may be "at least three more" serious bidders, including one from England.

Gantt also mentions that at least one potential owner has plans to come to Charlotte this week to take a look at at his investment in person, but doesn't specify who. Would be interesting to know,

All this is a formality,  it's Teppers to lose.

Already been vetted and checked out by the NFL, he's already a minority owner and he has the funds to make it happen. I'd be SHOCKED if it wasn't him.

Tepper would be my guess, though geographically speaking the easiest trip would be Navarro or Goodnight.

Wonderful how Gantt brings up the English guy now just to spark controversy. There's nothing to suggest he's still involved other than a name that came up early (that was never mentioned early) but here are some things to make people freak out anyway

Billionaires can easily catch a flight to come visit from anywhere on earth. They aren't travelling  via horse drawn carriages.

Charleston and Raleigh are, however, still physically closer to Charlotte than Miami and Canada. Hence the qualifer "geographically speaking' .
