Where are you from?

No politics or rants? Where did your ancestors come from? Mine..Yorkshire and Lincolnshire area of England. Sometime around 1767-68 as far back as we can determine. Settled  in the Essex County Virginia after having been "brought into the colony" not sure what that phrase means.

my grandfather on my mom's side was from the peloponnese region of greece.  my grandmother was also from a greek immigrant family and they met and married in wyoming before coming to spartanburg and eventually charlotte.  my dad's family is from the SC lowcountry and made their way to charlotte in the '50s.

Mother's side is from Sweden. Father's side is Irish and German mix.

My best friend is Greek

i spent 2 weeks in Greece while in the Navy

love Greek food and envy the pride they have in their culture

i wa the only non Greek in his wedding. Man what a party

My daughter spent a month in Europe. She said of all the countries she visited  she wanted to go back to Ireland above all the rest

I never made it to Portugal. I envision a rustic place and food. A fellow panther fans mother is Mexican. As a teenager she tsught me the proper use of a tortilla. She is 92 now. Limits herself to 3 beers when out on the town. Amazing lady

I have some Portuguese blood in me from my moms side as well. I’m often confused for christiano Rinaldo

Portugal is amazing great food and wine, I would love to live in the Azores.

I’m still trying to replicated authentic Portuguese Bacalao. 

My wife is Mexican they use tortillas like we use utensils.

Has anyone actually had one of those DNA tests done. "23 and me" is one. I'm such a skeptic , and cheap ass, I don't want to waste the money.
